Welcome to the Gardiner Family Practice

Phone lines are open from 8:30 each morning (Mon-Fri) to book a phone consultation (028 90741188) with a GP. These are subject to capacity and once full, unfortunately, only emergency calls can be taken.  Please leave as much detail with the receptionist as you can.

IF YOU NEED TO BE SEEN FACE TO FACE, YOU WILL BE.

The doctors have fully booked face to face appointments in the afternoon and will NOT be able to answer non emergency calls or routine enquiries. Please help us to help you by the calling the next morning for all non urgent and routine matters. Due to the volume of calls, please try to call before 10:30am. This will allow the doctor to prioritise the calls and call you back as soon as possible.

The best way to order a prescription is to call the surgery on 02890 741188, select option 1 for the Gardiner Family Practice; After the short message you should again select option 1 and then follow the instructions.

For test results, please try to call between 11:00pm and 12:00pm. Your results are important and as we are receiving and making a high volume of calls in the early morning, the doctor will be better placed to discuss your results later in the afternoon.

If you feel you may need a home visit - Please try to call before 10:30am. This will give the doctor more time to assess your call and  plan a visit on a timely basis.

If you require urgent medical attention outside of normal surgery hours please call

02890 744447.
